Job summary

HSBC is seeking an experienced Lead Full Stack Engineer to modernise and scale SmartServe, our microservices suite powering customer outreach and authorisations. You will be hands-on, delivering production code, shaping architecture, and raising engineering standards in a global, cross‑region team.

You’ll drive faster delivery cadence, collaborate with business and engineering leaders to understand requirements, and lead a culture of technical excellence across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in software engineering and delivering backend applications.
• Experience designing microservices architecture and leading teams.
