Artificial in London seeks a Lead Forward Deployed Engineer to lead client engagements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and guide a growing team of engineers.

You will work across engineering, product and commercial, focusing on insurtech outcomes, pilots, and value delivery while shaping platform configurations for brokers and carriers.

This hybrid role requires 2-3 days on-site at our City of London HQ or at client sites, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing teams in a scale-up environment.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Comfort working with domain-specific or functional languages.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis of client requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Brossa.
• Mentor and manage a team of Forward Deployed Engineers, providing feedback and development support.
• Own design, configuration and delivery of insurance product specifications across lines (e.g., marine, aviation).
• Collaborate with product, engineering and commercial teams to tailor the platform for client needs.
• Build and manage platform integrations and ensure ongoing technical support.
• Demonstrate product value and technical credibility to senior stakeholders.
