Are you a hands-on AI Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer or technology specialist who enjoys solving real business problems rather than building technology in isolation? This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of AI, technology and financial services, taking AI use cases from initial discovery through to production deployment and measurable business impact.

Our client is an established financial services organisation with a sophisticated, regulated technology environment and a strong focus on innovation.You will work directly with business units and support functions to understand their workflows, identify where AI can create genuine value and turn those opportunities into practical, scalable solutions.

You will lead AI initiatives end-to-end, from discovery and scoping through prototyping, implementation, rollout and continuous improvement.This includes designing, building and adapting AI agents and AI-enabled workflows around real business processes, while ensuring solutions meet the security, governance, privacy and regulatory requirements of an enterprise financial services environment.

A major focus will be understanding complex business processes and translating them into practical AI solutions.You will facilitate workshops with business stakeholders, identify and prioritise high-value use cases, monitor deployed agents and measure their adoption, performance and business impact.You will also capture findings from deployments and turn them into reusable patterns and scalable approaches across the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and deploying technology solutions within complex enterprise environments, combined with a strong understanding of modern AI systems and agentic workflows.Experience across LLM integration, retrieval, tool use, context orchestration, evaluations, guardrails, observability and human-in-the-loop workflows will be highly valuable.Experience within financial services, wealth management, banking, investment, risk, compliance, KYC or operations will be particularly advantageous.

Location: London, UK / Hybrid Working

Salary: £100,000 - £140,000

Hybrid Working: 3-days a week in the offices.
