Proformance Coaching Ltd. is seeking a Lead Coach for Lyde Green to deliver engaging football sessions for ages 5–14 as part of a new coaching programme.

You’ll also have chances to lead school provision, organise half-term camps, and contribute to community projects in Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, and Bristol. The role offers opportunities for progression, a coach development programme, and ongoing training, with a pay rate up to £35 per hour, dependent on experience and

As a Lead Coach you’ll be at the heart of our brand new football coaching programmes in Lyde Green, delivering fun, engaging, and high quality football sessions to develop players aged 5 - 14 years old.

We also provide opportunities for you to lead inspiring sports provision at schools, and create memorable days at our half term football camps - also coming to Lyde Green. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive and supportive environment where young players can play, learn and grow.

Covering Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, and Bristol, our fast growing team delivers action packed, fun filled football sessions to over 400 children aged 18 months - 14 years old every week! Plus, we bring top quality sports provision to over 4,000 children in schools across the region.

We’re all about developing our coaches and giving them exciting opportunities to grow, learn, and make a real impact. With us, you will be enrolled into a coach development programme alongside 6 CPD's per year.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Leading structured, age-appropriate football sessions for children aged 5 - 14 years old, helping players to develop key technical, tactical, and teamwork skills, using our curriculum and coaching framework.


• Working with school staff and stakeholders to provide quality sports provision and enrichment following a scheme of works.


• Create a fun and inclusive environment that builds confidence and passion for sport.


• Motivating and inspiring young children to reach their full potential.


• Show the ability to safely manage disruptive behavioural personalities and dis-regulated behaviour patterns within sessions.


• Providing feedback and encouragement to children and parents.


• Ensure sessions are delivered safely and align with the company's safeguarding policies.


• Represent the organisation positively and contribute to its growth and reputation in the community.

The Essentials:

• A minimum of 3 years experience coaching children in a football environment.


• A minimum of UEFA C Licence / old FA Level 2 (or working towards).


• Demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, and engaging personality with great communication skills.


• Passion and proven experience of developing young players.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Valid Basic DBS certificate.

The Desirables:

• UEFA B Licence or above (or working towards).


• Access to transport to and from places of work.


• Valid Enhanced DBS certificate.


• Previous experience as a Lead Coach within a similar football programme.
