Gymfinity Kids is seeking an experienced Lead Coach for the St Bede's High School Community Club in Blackburn. You will lead and mentor the coaching team, delivering high-energy gymnastics and Ninja sessions while supporting programme operations.

Applicants must be 18+, have proven coaching leadership, be available for evenings and weekends, and complete an enhanced DBS check. The role offers part-time permanent hours, up to £13.71 per hour, plus benefits such as 28 days holiday and a pension.

• Proven coaching experience in gymnastics, parkour, or Ninja-style training.
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience in a coaching environment.

• High energy, self-motivated and passionate about children’s development.

Responsabilités

• Lead by example delivering fun, safe gymnastics and Ninja classes.
• Mentor and support coaching team members, helping them build confidence and improve session quality.
• Provide training and development guidance to new and existing coaches.

• Organise daily coaching responsibilities and team coverage.
• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety guidelines.
• Handle parent queries professionally and positively.
• Contribute to member growth and retention.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As Lead Coach, you’ll be the energy and support behind our coaching team — a hands-on mentor, motivator, and role model. Your role will be split between delivering amazing sessions and supporting the growth and development of your fellow coaches.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead by example in the delivery of fun, safe, high-energy gymnastics and Ninja classes
• Mentor and support coaching team members, helping them build confidence and improve session quality
• Provide training and development guidance to new and existing coaches
• Support the Programme Manager with daily operations, staffing, and cover planning
• Organise daily coaching responsibilities and ensure team coverage
• Ensure all coaches work within their approved skill remit and follow Health & Safety guidelines
• Support team meetings, safety checks, and feedback reviews
• Handle parent/member queries and feedback with professionalism and positivity
• Contribute to achieving club goals, including member growth and retention
• Support with opening and closing duties as required
• Help create a supportive, inclusive, and enjoyable club culture for both team and members

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven coaching experience (preferably in gymnastics, parkour, or Ninja-style training)
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience in a coaching environment
• Confident leading a team and developing others
• High energy, self-motivated, and passionate about children’s development
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Positive, solutions-focused mindset
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends
• Due to safeguarding responsibilities, applicants must be aged 18 or over to apply.
