Job summary

AZTRUM is seeking an experienced Associate- Flood Risk to lead and expand the in-house flood modelling capability within the UK market. The role focuses on building a team and delivering flood risk, hydraulic modelling and hydrology projects across the region.

The successful candidate will manage projects, develop client relationships and provide training to a small team of engineers. Experience with Tuflow and Flood Modeller is essential.

Qualifications

• Academic background in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Hydrology.
• Experience with flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling (Tuflow, Flood Modeller).
• Experience delivering flood risk and climate change projects.
• Experience leading or developing a small team of engineers.
• UK consultancy experience in hydraulic modelling, model development, verification, interpretation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the flood risk capability.
• Manage projects delivering flood risk, hydraulic modelling and hydrology work.
• Develop new opportunities with clients across the region.
• Provide training and support to a small team of engineers.
• Complete and check flood risk assessments, hydraulic models, hydrological assessments, and drainage strategies.
