Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Associate- Flood Risk to lead and grow the flood risk capability across the UK. You will manage projects delivering flood risk assessments, hydraulic modelling, and hydrology studies using Tuflow and Flood Modeller.

You will develop in-house modelling expertise, mentor a small team of engineers, win new opportunities with clients, and support flexible hybrid working from London or the north.

Qualifications

• Academic background in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Hydrology
• Experience in UK-based consultancy specialising in hydraulic modelling
• Experience completing flood risk assessments and climate change projects

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the flood risk capability across the UK
• Deliver flood risk assessments, hydraulic modelling and hydrology projects
• Develop in-house flood modelling expertise and verify/interpret results
• Provide support and training to a small team of engineers
• Develop new opportunities with clients across the region
