Qualifications

• Strong academic background.
• UK-based consultancy experience in flood risk and hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
• Residence near a local office is beneficial, with interest in climate change and drainage engineering.

Responsibilities

• Hydraulic modelling and model build using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
• Flood risk assessments and drainage strategies.
• Hydrological assessments.
• Flood mitigation.
• Flood management action plans and improvement works.
• Natural flood management.
• Flood risk mapping and estimation.
• Support new team members and check technical flood risk/complex hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
• Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities to develop new opportunities and ensure projects are delivered to time and budget.
• Business development on occasion.
