Job summary

Asper Recruitment seeks an experienced Site Manager in Glasgow to lead construction and fit-out delivery. You will coordinate day-to-day site activity, manage subcontractors and trades, and ensure works meet programme and budget while maintaining high safety standards.

You will read and interpret programmes and drawings, engage clients and stakeholders, and drive quality across live projects with a proactive approach to risk and change management.

Qualifications

• Experience leading site teams on construction, refurbishment or fit-out projects.
• Proven ability to read programmes, drawings and specifications to drive progress.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety standards and site compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations with focus on safety, quality and productivity.
• Coordinate subcontractors across groundworks, cladding, steel, M&E and finishes.
• Support planning, sequencing and programme management to hit milestones.
• Monitor progress against budget and programme with timely updates.
• Attend client progress meetings and maintain accurate site records.
• Promote safety culture and continuous improvement on site.
