Job summary

Rogers McHugh in Glasgow seeks an experienced Site Manager to oversee the fit-out of a paddle court facility in Gallowgate, Glasgow. You will manage final strip-out stages, coordinate subcontractors, and lead remedial and internal fit-out works through to completion.

The role requires proven fit-out management experience, strong health & safety knowledge, and excellent communication and organisation skills. The contract is temporary/freelance for 8 weeks in Glasgow.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing fit-out and refurbishment projects.
• Strong subcontractor management & coordination skills.
• Good understanding of health & safety regulations and site procedures.
• Ability to drive programme and manage multiple work packages simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the completion of ongoing strip-out works.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors on site.
• Monitor health & safety compliance and maintain site standards.
• Manage remedial floor works and decoration packages.
• Oversee all internal fit-out activities.
• Coordinate the installation and fit-out of the new paddle courts.
• Ensure works are delivered on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
• Maintain site records and communicate progress to the project team.
