Zusammenfassung

Gloucester Academy is seeking a committed Lead First Aider and SEND Administration Assistant to support the smooth running of the school. The role includes managing emergency and routine medical care for pupils and staff, coordinating student healthcare plans and maintaining records, and providing clerical support to the SENDCO.

You will handle MIS tasks in Bromcom and manage EHCP reviews, while liaising with parents and health professionals to ensure compliance with health and safety

Qualifikationen

• HSE Approved First Aid at Work qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• Defibrillator and EpiPen usage knowledge or training.
• Previous first aid delivery and training experience in a school context.
• Administrative experience in a school or similar setting desirable.
• Experience working with SEND pupils.

Aufgaben

• Lead first aid in the school for pupils and staff, manage emergencies and routine care.
• Coordinate attendance to minor medical needs and communicate with parents and staff.
• Inform Head Teacher of serious concerns and arrange contact with parents.
• Coordinate and maintain Health Care Plans with parents and health professionals.
• Manage EHCP annual review administration and invitations.
• Input and manage sensitive student data using Bromcom.
• Answer calls, emails and queries from parents or carers.
