Job summary

Otis London is seeking an NVQ Level 4 qualified Tester/Technician to join the Major Projects New Equipment Installation Team to ensure that all new lift, escalator and travelator installations within our construction portfolio are fully tested and compliant. You will provide technical support to other Field Test Engineers and train new staff in adjusting/commissioning units.

The successful candidate will test and commission complex multi-unit sites with EMS and Compass, supervise other test

Qualifications

• NVQ4-equivalent qualification in lift or escalator testing.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering principles (EN81 etc.).
• IT-literate with MS Excel and MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Test and commission complex multi-unit sites with EMS and Compass.
• Lead and coordinate other test engineers on site for safe testing.
• Provide on-site technical support and assist with handover paperwork.
• Liaise with client during large multi-unit testing and assist bids.
• Perform quality readings and support service during the operating period.
