Job summary

Cura Terrae Water Limited is seeking an experienced Team Leader – Field Service Engineer to lead the delivery of Continuous Water Quality Monitoring (CWQM) projects across the UK. This hands-on leadership role combines technical expertise with day-to-day supervision of field service activities.

You will supervise installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of CWQM systems, coach Field Service Engineers, and ensure safety, data quality and client satisfaction on a range of sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Field Service Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning, fault finding, and maintaining instrumentation and telemetry systems.
• Experience with Continuous Water Quality Monitoring (CWQM) systems is desirable.
• Confident leading and supporting a team while delivering high-quality work.
• Good understanding of health & safety practices, including RAMS and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Field Service Engineers in the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of CWQM systems.
• Carry out commissioning, fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on monitoring systems and associated infrastructure.
• Conduct site surveys and oversee equipment preparation and installation activities.
• Ensure monitoring systems are correctly configured and delivering reliable, high-quality data.
• Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance, including adherence to RAMS and reporting of hazards and near misses.
• Ensure all work meets company standards, client requirements, and relevant regulatory obligations.
• Build strong working relationships with Project Managers, clients, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support the development and performance of Field Service Engineers through coaching and technical guidance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, service delivery, and operational performance.
• Complete accurate service records, reports, and project documentation.
