Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to oversee the operation of managed facilities in the region. You will lead a portfolio of buildings, ensure preventative maintenance is performed, respond to client requests, and identify opportunities for service improvements.

The role requires FM knowledge, leadership skills, and certification options such as 18th Edition or F-Gas. An apprentice background is an advantage, and you will mentor maintenance technicians while

Qualifications

• FM knowledge is required.
• 18th Edition or F-Gas certification is required.
• Apprentice trained is advantageous.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of facility operations, including electrical, plumbing, fire safety, security systems, and building automation systems.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and ensure adherence to these schedules.
• Respond to and resolve client requests and maintenance issues promptly and efficiently.
• Manage and oversee vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts, managing performance, and ensuring quality of service.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with building systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned facilities and the surrounding area.
• Assist with the development of proposals and bids for new business.
• Opportunity to grow, supervise and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and other facility staff.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on facility performance, maintenance activities, and financial metrics.
