Job summary

Downham Market Academy is seeking a Senior Exam Invigilator on a casual contract to support the Exams Officer with the preparation and running of exams. The role runs Monday to Friday on a casual basis, with work weeks before and during exam periods and attendance at results days in mid-August.

You will help with seating plans, paperwork, and student registers, ensure security, and manage equipment. The position requires experience with children and a willingness to learn the exam process.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children is desirable.
• An understanding of the exam process or a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support the Exams Officer with preparation and running of exams.
• Ensure exam security before, during and after each exam.
• Print/laminate posters and candidate ID cards for exam rooms.
• Prepare seating plans and student registers ahead of exams.
• Assist with rest breaks, medical incidents or any problems during exams.
• Support results days in August as required.
