Job summary

Browne Group is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the tender process for high-value infrastructure projects within the utility sector. You will work in the Commercial team to develop competitive estimates, assess risks, and ensure timely, high-quality submissions.

You will collaborate with operations, commercial and technical teams, provide leadership to the estimating group, and contribute to profitable project wins while supporting Browne's growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Senior Estimator or Estimator in utilities/infrastructure/civil sectors.
• Experience in preparing winning tenders and securing profitable projects.
• Understanding of construction methods, materials, pricing and commercial principles.
• Ability to develop estimates from first principles and interpret technical docs.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading or mentoring estimating teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead tender process from enquiry to submission and handover.
• Develop competitive cost estimates and assess risks and opportunities.
• Review technical and contractual requirements for submissions.
• Provide leadership to the estimating team and build client/supplier relationships.
