Job summary

Nub News in Warwick is seeking a Lead Estimator (Cost Intelligence & Benchmarking) to redefine its estimating capability across major programmes. You will develop systems, data and processes to drive investment decisions and project delivery.

The role requires extensive cost estimation experience, benchmarking expertise and familiarity with Eclipse Estimating and advanced Excel. AACE CCP or CEP certification is preferred, with hybrid working 2 days in the Warwick office.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in cost estimation within major infrastructure, engineering, or energy projects.
• Proven track record in developing estimating systems, methodologies, or cost intelligence frameworks.
• Strong expertise in benchmarking, estimate validation, and cost assurance.
• Proficiency in Eclipse Estimating and advanced Excel with data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardise estimating methodologies across major programmes.
• Design and implement benchmarking framework and cost intelligence datasets.
• Capture and analyse cost, productivity, and programme data from live projects.
• Mentor junior estimators and influence stakeholders through data-driven recommendations.
