Job summary

Global Law Firm in London is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to lead the data architecture strategy and deliver a scalable Azure-based data platform. You will guide data governance, modelling and AI-ready capabilities across the business, with line management of two Data Architects.

The role requires extensive experience in large organisations, strong leadership, and a proven track record in lakehouse design and enterprise data platforms.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as an Enterprise Data Architect in large, complex organisations.
• Demonstrated leadership with line management responsibility.
• Experience designing modern lakehouse and enterprise data architectures.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, metadata, MDM and data modelling.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise data architecture strategy and roadmap.
• Lead the design of modern Azure lakehouse and data platform architectures.
• Shape and embed enterprise data governance, modelling and architecture standards.
• Drive the adoption of a data product operating model across the organisation.
• Partner with Data, AI, Engineering and Enterprise Architecture teams on strategic initiatives.
• Provide architecture governance and technical leadership across data and AI programmes.
• Lead and mentor a team of Data Architects.
• Ensure enterprise data platforms are scalable, secure and AI-ready.
