Job summary

Jackson Hogg Ltd is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex engineering and construction projects from concept to completion, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and quality. You will manage programmes, cost plans, and project teams while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires PM qualifications and experience in engineering, industrial, construction or infrastructure projects, with a focus on commercial performance and change control.

Qualifications

• HND, Degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering or technical discipline.
• Formal Project Management qualification (APM, PMI, PRINCE2 or similar).
• Previous experience delivering engineering, industrial, construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules and commercial performance.
• Knowledge of contract management and change control processes.
• Strong stakeholder and client management skills.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Managing engineering and construction projects from award through to handover.
• Developing and maintaining project programmes and cost plans.
• Leading project kick-off meetings and regular progress reviews.
• Coordinating engineering, procurement, manufacturing, installation, commissioning and handover activities.
• Managing project budgets, cashflow forecasts and commercial performance.
• Monitoring project risks, opportunities and mitigation plans.
• Identifying and managing scope changes, variations and compensation events.
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Producing project reports and communicating progress internally and externally.
• Leading and developing project teams to achieve successful project delivery.
