Job summary

Jackson Hogg Ltd in Teesside (Stockton/Middlesbrough area) is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team supporting major process engineering projects across chemicals, petrochemicals, oil & gas, and power sectors. The role covers full lifecycle from early concept through FEED, EPC, commissioning and ongoing technical guidance.

You will mentor graduates, lead engineering activity, review P&IDs and 3D models, and ensure safety and quality compliance.

Qualifications

Degree qualified in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience delivering Pre FEED, FEED and EPC phases.
Background within chemicals, petrochemicals, oil & gas, power generation, or related process industries.
Strong understanding of pump systems, separation equipment, and relief systems.
Experience participating in HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPA studies.

Responsibilities

Deliver process engineering activities across the project lifecycle including Pre FEED, FEED, and EPC phases.
Provide technical design support for design, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.
Produce, review, and approve discipline documentation.
Provide ongoing technical support to projects and wider engineering teams.
