Job summary

Oxoid Remel Microbiology in the United Kingdom is seeking a Lead Engineering Administrator to coordinate engineering administration, documentation, procurement, maintenance planning and project support across the Basingstoke and East Grinstead sites.

You will manage ERP transactions, CMMS administration, spare parts inventory, and supplier coordination while ensuring compliance and efficient operations that support our customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP in engineering/technical environments.
• Understanding of maintenance activities and quality systems.
• Ability to manage records, reports and documentation.
• Strong cross-site coordination and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide admin support to Engineering teams across the Basingstoke and East Grinstead sites.
• Coordinate engineering documentation, records and compliance-related activities.
• Support spare parts, inventory control, and engineering procurement processes.
• Manage ERP transactions, purchase orders, invoices, and supplier coordination.
• Assist with CMMS administration, preventive maintenance scheduling, and statutory inspections.
• Support engineering projects, CAPEX activities, document control, and project tracking.
• Coordinate contractor activities, permits to work, and EHS compliance requirements.

About the Role

As a Lead Engineering Administrator, you'll support the Engineering Team by coordinating engineering administration, documentation, procurement, maintenance planning, and project support activities. You'll play an important role in advancing our mission by helping ensure efficient, compliant, and consistent engineering operations across multiple locations, while collaborating with talented colleagues to deliver meaningful results for our customers, partners, and communities.

What You'll Do

• Provide administrative support to Engineering teams across the Basingstoke and East Grinstead sites.

• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems.
• Experience maintaining records, reports, trackers, and engineering documentation.
• Knowledge of CMMS, engineering administration, contractor management, or project support is preferred.
