About the Role
As a Validation Engineer, you'll support the Validation team by ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, utilities, facilities, and systems remain qualified, validated, and compliant with regulatory and quality requirements. You'll play an important role in advancing our mission by maintaining product quality, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability while collaborating with talented colleagues to deliver meaningful results for our customers, partners, and communities.
What You'll Do
- Plan, prepare, execute, and maintain validation and qualification documentation, including protocols, reports, and associated lifecycle records.
- Support qualification activities for equipment, utilities, facilities, computerized systems, and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs to maintain the validated state of systems and processes.
- Perform risk assessments, impact assessments, and investigation activities to support changes, deviations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review and approve validation-related documentation, ensuring activities are completed in accordance with site procedures, industry standards, and GMP requirements.
- Support internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and validation program improvements through effective technical expertise and compliance oversight.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience working within a regulated GMP, pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, or life sciences environment.
- Knowledge of validation and qualification principles, including risk-based approaches and lifecycle management.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and compliant records.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
