Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Lead Engineer (Maintenance) for a food manufacturing business near Uxbridge. The role includes leading a small automation engineering team, maintaining and repairing automated equipment, and fault finding across electrical and control systems.

The position offers a £60,000 basic salary with a strong benefits package and clear progression opportunities into a Maintenance Manager role.

Qualifications

• Lead a small team of automation engineers.
• Maintenance and repairs on a range of automated production and packaging equipment.
• Electrical engineering – Motors, invertors, sensors, panels and fault finding etc.
• PLCs – fault finding (Siemens).
• Basic mechanical maintenance.
• Understanding of Profibus / Profinet.
• Good Automation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of automation engineers.
• Oversee maintenance and repairs on automated production lines.
• Troubleshoot electrical/electronic faults and perform preventative maintenance.
