Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including senior roles.
• Demonstrated ability to own major projects from architecture to production.
• Able to lead technical decisions and set engineering standards.
• Comfortable discussing system design and tackling hard technical problems.
• Thrives in fast-moving environments with strong systems engineering background.
• Rust experience is a plus.

A Technical Lead is needed to join one of London’s fastest‑growing start‑ups, taking ownership of complex engineering projects and playing a key role in shaping the technology as the business scales. This is more than a hands‑on engineering role. They’re looking for someone who can make high-level technical decisions, lead from the front and take real responsibility for what gets built and how. You’ll have the freedom to challenge existing approaches, drive architecture and set the standard for engineering across the team. Who you are

• 5+ years of professional experience, including senior experience
• Proven experience taking ownership of major projects, from architecture through to production.
• Comfortable leading technical decisions, mentoring engineers and setting engineering standards.
• Equally happy discussing system design and getting hands‑on with difficult technical problems.
• Someone who thrives in fast‑moving environments
• Strong systems engineering experience
• Rust experience is a plus, but exceptional technical ability matters most.
