A leading recruitment agency is looking for a Senior Engine Test Technician in Millbrook, England. In this hands-on role, you will oversee engine test operations, validate systems, and collaborate with engineers to enhance high-profile projects in internal combustion technology. The ideal candidate will have strong engine systems knowledge and be confident in diagnostics. This position offers a full-time contract with family-friendly benefits and recognition awards.

Competenze

• Strong understanding of petrol and diesel engine systems.
• Confident in diagnosing faults and working with engine support equipment.
• Background in automotive, mechanical, or testing environments.
• Basic mechanical and fabrication skills.
• Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g. AVL PUMA, Horiba STARS).
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.

Mansioni

• Leading engine installation, instrumentation, and test cell setup.
• Validating engine systems and support equipment for safe and accurate operation.
• Running both automated and manual test cycles, including advanced testing with engineering support.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Performing servicing, hardware changes, and taking ownership of test pieces.
• Collaborating with Engineers, Supervisors, and customers for smooth project delivery.
• Supporting continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and quality.

Conoscenze
