Job summary

South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced, in-date Emergency Response Driving Instructor to join the instructor team on a full-time basis. You will deliver high-quality training, develop learners' competence, and support frontline clinicians in safe driving during emergencies.

The role involves delivering instructor-led courses, including specialist driving modules, and maintaining robust training records in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified with DERADI and Emergency Response driving instruction background.
• 3+ years post-qualification DERADI instruction experience.
• DVSA ADI registration and ambulance service driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and assess emergency response ambulance driving skills across the Trust.
• Develop driving competence and ensure safe, professional performance.
• Maintain training records and deliver engaging instruction.
