Electus Recruitment is seeking an Embedded Design Team Lead – Electronics Engineering in Stevenage with an on-site requirement. The role offers a salary between £50k and £65k plus bonus and benefits.

You will lead and mentor a technical team, oversee DSP/SoC projects, and drive embedded hardware/software integration across products. The ideal candidate has proven team leadership, FPGA and firmware experience, and a strong delivery mindset within safety-critical systems.

Competenze

• Leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary hardware teams.
• Background in Digital Hardware or FPGA or Embedded Software design.
• Experience designing/architecting embedded digital systems.
• Experience integrating/testing embedded systems on hardware.
• Strong verbal and written communication; delivery-focused.

Mansioni

• Provide support to the team – technical and people management.
• Ensure projects complete on time and to high standards.
• Manage a portfolio of advanced DSP systems, SoCs, safety-critical systems.
• Allocate and implement use of embedded devices from multiple vendors.
