Job summary

Recruit 12 is seeking a Lead Software & Control Engineer to provide technical leadership in embedded control systems for electrified powertrain applications. You will drive software delivery for global programmes, mentor teams and collaborate with customers and engineering groups across regions.

The role requires a Master's in a related field and extensive experience in automotive software, CAN/CAN-FD, XCP, and model-based development.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Automotive Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.
At least 8 years' experience in software development, controls engineering or powertrain calibration.
Strong experience with model-based development environments such as MATLAB/Simulink or ASCET-SD.
Proven experience developing, testing and validating automotive transmission or electrified powertrain software.
Knowledge of CAN, CAN-FD and XCP networks.
Experience with functional safety, cybersecurity and ISO 26262 standards.
Experience with calibration tools, ideally CANape.

Responsibilities

Lead software and control solutions delivery for automotive embedded controllers across global programmes.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams.
Manage the complete V-cycle development process from requirements through design, implementation, testing and validation.
Own delivery of software modules across global customer programmes.
Collaborate with customers, internal engineering teams and global stakeholders.
Mentor engineers and support a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Support technical resource management and project delivery within a global matrix organisation.
