Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd. is recruiting a Lead Electrician to drive electrical installations, inspections and quality across our Hampshire and New Forest projects. You will mentor peers, complete EICRs and Certificates, and help grow a high-performing electrical team.

The role focuses on domestic refurbishments and compliance, with progression toward an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (EQS) and long-term career development within a supportive, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection and Testing.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
Experience in domestic residential properties.
Desire to progress to Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (EQS).
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Carry out electrical installations, repairs and testing within domestic properties.
Complete EICRs, Minor Works Certificates and Electrical Installation Certificates accurately.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other electricians.
Conduct quality checks and validations on electrical repairs, small works and testing activities.
Develop skills to progress into an EQS role and review electrical certification.
Support Building Control notifications for applicable installation works.
