Job summary

MDE Consultants Ltd is seeking an experienced Lead Electrician with a strong Commercial Solar PV background to lead electrical installation teams on projects nationwide. This hands-on role requires on-site leadership of electricians, apprentices and support engineers to deliver compliant, safe and high-quality work.

You will oversee containment, cabling, termination, testing and commissioning, manage daily workload and resources, mentor junior staff and maintain high H&S standards across sites

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical installation
• AM2 qualification and ECS Gold Card
• 18th Edition wiring regulations
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel nationwide

We are recruiting an experienced Lead Electrician with a strong Commercial Solar PV background to lead electrical installation teams across projects nationwide.

This is a hands-on role for someone who has come through electrical installation and is comfortable leading electricians, apprentices and support engineers on site.

• Happy to travel and stay away nationwide
• Solar PV and EV qualifications advantageous.
