Job summary

Involve Recruitment seeks an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead the delivery of commercial projects across South Wales, focusing on Barry and Rhoose. You will supervise day-to-day electrical works, ensure safety, quality, and on-time installation across colleges, airports, schools and hospitals.

Applicants should hold SSSTS/SMSTS, JIB/ECS Gold Card, First Aid at Work, strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and 18th Edition wiring regs; driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
• Valid JIB/ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician or Technician status).
• First Aid at Work qualification.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, 18th Edition wiring regulations, and electrical best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily on-site electrical operations across commercial infrastructure projects.
• Prepare, implement, and enforce RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) for electrical works.
• Plan, manage, and monitor project programmes and installation schedules.
• Ensure full compliance with all health and safety legislation, company procedures, and electrical regulations.
• Complete all associated site administration, progress reporting, and sign-offs.
• Procure and manage materials, ensuring stock levels support project timelines.
• Coordinate, supervise, and manage subcontractors and internal electrical teams.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity throughout the project lifecycle.
