Turner Lovell in East Midlands seeks an Electrical Site Supervisor to lead and optimise performance on major HV projects. You will manage multi‑project delivery, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and act as the technical interface with clients and design teams.

The role offers frontline leadership with accountability for time, budget, and quality, advancing UK transmission and distribution initiatives within a growing contracting business.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading teams of operatives on power projects.
  • Background in Electrical Design, Primary Design, Protection & Control.
  • Experience coordinating design delivery across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Comfortable acting as the technical interface with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of UK transmission or distribution standards and design processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise electrical works on site to deliver projects safely and to budget.
  • Manage multiple projects, coordinating with QSHE and commercial teams.
  • Ensure compliance with HASAWA, NRSWA, COSHH and related regulations.
  • Oversee daily/weekly inspections and report findings to QSHE.
  • Facilitate toolbox talks and training for site teams.
  • Maintain records, certificates, licenses, and notices up to date.
  • Act as primary technical liaison with clients and engineers.
  • Monitor site teams to ensure workmanship meets required standards.
