Job summary

Turner Lovell is seeking an Electrical Site Supervisor to lead and optimise performance on major transmission and distribution projects in the East Midlands.

You will manage multiple projects safely, coordinate design delivery, and act as the technical interface with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders. This role requires strong knowledge of UK standards and excellent communication to ensure compliant, timely delivery and budget control.

Qualifications

• Lead teams to maintain workmanship at the required standard.
• Conduct inspections and report findings to the QSHE department.
• Facilitate toolbox talks and identify learning areas.
• Implement safety rules, instructions and procedures.
• Monitor teams within line management responsibility.
• Carry out daily risk assessments and maintain records.

Electrical Site Supervisor

Scope of Work: An exciting opportunity for an Electrical Site Supervisor to lead and optimise performance through the effective management of projects from allocation by the Commercial team to completion.

Turner Lovell is recruiting for a Electrical Site Supervisor to join a Contracting business that's growing considerably through their delivery of major transmission and distribution projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of the business and its customers
• Manage multiple and/or major projects safely, competently, and effectively to time and budget.
• Ensure project meets all current legislation HASAWA, NRSWA C.O.S.H.H. etc.
• Ensure teams are working in a safe manner to the correct standard or workmanship
• Undertake inspections daily / weekly inline with the company processes, report all findings to QSHE department
• Conduct TBT's which are prepared by the QSHE team, identify potential learning areas for new TBT's to be provided.
• Implement safety rules, instructions, standing orders and procedures.
• Actively monitor teams within your line management responsibility.
• Ensure Point of Work Risk Assessments are carried out at daily
• Ensure that all statutory records, certificates, licenses, notifications and notices are in place.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in managing teams of operatives.
• Background in Electrical Design, Primary Design, Protection & Control or a related power engineering discipline.
• Experience leading or coordinating design delivery across multiple concurrent projects.
• Comfortable acting as the technical interface with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of UK transmission or distribution standards and design processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
