Job summary

Walker & Sloan are recruiting an experienced Senior Project Manager (Electrical) to lead the electrical delivery of a major data centre development in Bristol.

You'll oversee complex electrical and MEP packages from pre-construction through commissioning in a live, mission-critical environment, reporting to the Project Director and coordinating with design, commercial teams and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering complex electrical or MEP projects.
• Experience with HV/LV distribution, switchgear, UPS and critical power infrastructure.
• Experience managing electrical packages from design through commissioning and handover.
• Strong programme management, procurement and subcontractor coordination.
• Knowledge of electrical safety, isolation procedures and energisation.
• Experience leading project teams and managing complex technical interfaces.
• Commercial awareness and experience with major construction contracts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of complex electrical and MEP packages from pre-construction through installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Provide senior leadership across the electrical delivery function, ensuring safety, programme and budget alignment.
• Manage project planning, procurement strategies, design coordination and construction sequencing.
• Develop project teams and manage specialist subcontractors.
• Maintain relationships with clients and senior project stakeholders.
