Job summary

Mane is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design across the HS2 project. You will oversee design development from concept through construction, testing, commissioning and handover, coordinating with other disciplines and ensuring compliance with HS2 requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant experience leading electrical design activities in MEP/building services, infrastructure, or rail.
• Experience executing design calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Experience using electrical design software such as AutoCAD and Revit; ability to coordinate multidisciplinary designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, review, and coordination of electrical designs, drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
• Verify electrical design calculations including load, cable sizing, voltage drop, protection coordination, lighting and containment.
• Ensure compliance with standards and HS2 requirements and manage interfaces with other disciplines.
• Provide technical leadership to engineers, designers, and site teams; resolve technical queries with stakeholders.
