Job summary

CPR in London is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to take technical ownership of electrical systems across the High Speed Rail programme. The role covers electrical distribution, lighting, distribution boards and building management controls on a major infrastructure project.

You will work with Main Works Civil Contractors to ensure designs, specifications and installations meet railway standards, act as technical authority, and manage interfaces across multiple workstreams with ad hoc site

Qualifications

• Background in electrical engineering within building services or major infrastructure.
• Experience leading technical authority on a major programme.
• Knowledge of UK construction regulations including CDM requirements.
• Ability to write clearly about technical matters and advise non-specialists.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical systems across HS2 project and ensure designs meet requirements.
• Act as technical owner across multiple contracts and delivery partners.
• Engage with internal teams and external contractors.
• Provide technical guidance and maintain engineering standards across interfaces.
