Job summary

A leading UK MEP subcontractor is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis, working on the prestigious HS2 project toward West London.

You will manage electrical project activities, coordinate with project teams and subcontractors, ensure safety on site, and support the design, installation and commissioning of electrical systems while delivering to programme, budget and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer within the MEP sector.
• Strong knowledge of UK electrical services and infrastructure projects.
• Releant electrical qualifications
• SSSTS / SMSTS
• Experience on large-scale projects, preferably rail or heavy industrial
• Excellent organisational, communication, and technical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee electrical project activities, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure smooth execution of electrical works.
• Monitor compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards on site.
• Support the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems across the project.
• Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to site teams.
