Job summary

Resource Matters Ltd is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to ensure manufacturing operations run smoothly and safely. You will lead maintenance, respond to production breakdowns and drive continuous improvement across the site.

Responsibilities include responding rapidly to breakdowns, supporting shift engineers and apprentices, conducting planned maintenance, and promoting health and safety standards while collaborating with contractors and colleagues to achieve production goals.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained Electrical/Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (HNC/HND).
• Maintenance experience in a process plant, utilities or energy intensive manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
• Able to attend to both mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge/experience of PLCs, Control Systems, 3 Phase Motors and Inverter Drives.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly respond to production breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Provide technical support to shift engineers and apprentices.
• Perform essential planned maintenance and repairs.
• Drive continuous improvement through innovative project work.
• Promote and ensure adherence to Health & Safety standards.
• Collaborate with contractors and colleagues to achieve company goals.
