RGB Network in Cambridge is seeking an Associate Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical building services projects from concept to completion. You will manage client relationships, mentor engineers and contribute to the growth of the Building Services team, with hybrid working arrangements.

The role offers leadership across technical and commercial aspects, involvement in fee proposals, and opportunities for career progression within a growing UK consultancy.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant consultancy experience delivering electrical building services designs.
• Strong understanding of Building Regulations and British Standards.
• Experience managing client relationships and project teams.
• Mentoring or line management experience.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of project financials.
• Chartered Engineer status or clear pathway towards Chartership.

Responsabilités

• Lead electrical design on complex building services projects.
• Act as the main client contact and develop long-term relationships.
• Lead design meetings, workshops and project reviews.
• Provide technical guidance and quality assurance across teams.
• Manage resources, project delivery and financial performance.
• Support fee proposals, bids and business development activities.
• Work with multidisciplinary design teams.
• Mentor graduates, engineers and develop chartership within the team.
• Assist recruitment and expansion of the Cambridge office.
