Job summary

Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work in the Emergency Department on a 12-month fixed-term, part-time contract (22.5 hours per week, 24/7 rota with night duties).

Applicants should be an experienced professional from a nursing, paramedic, pharmacy, or physiotherapy background, with MSc in Advanced Practice and RCEM portfolio ongoing. The role offers an exciting expansion of the ACP team within ED.

Qualifications

• NMC/HCPC registration.
• MSc in Advanced Practice or equivalent.
• Independent Non-medical prescriber credential.
• RCEM credentialed ACP or within 6 months of application.
• Experience in a secondary care Emergency Department/Urgent Treatment Centre or acute care area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert autonomous assessment, examination, treatment and diagnosis for a range of ED patients.
• You will have protected time to lead a departmental non-clinical project and develop professionally.
• Support development and training with an FRCEM educational supervisor and ACP team.
