AtkinsRéalis is seeking an ecologist to lead projects, undertake ecological assessments, and design habitat solutions for development and nature recovery schemes. You will work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams, delivering high-quality deliverables and leading ecology on projects.

• Knowledge of the UK habitat survey methods (UKHab) and related impact assessments.
• Ability to undertake Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and Ecological Impact Assessments.
• Strong report writing skills with clear, concise delivery.

Responsibilities

• Work individually and in teams on ecological assessment and habitat design.
• Develop pragmatic ecological mitigation and compensation approaches.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders/clients.
