Job summary

Christ the King Catholic Academy is opening a brand-new nursery provision for 3 to 4-year-olds and seeks a Level 4 Early Years Practitioner to lead the team. You will partner with senior leaders to deliver outstanding care, learning, and development, creating a nurturing environment where children become confident, independent learners.

You will model best practice, inspire colleagues, and drive high standards in inclusion and safeguarding, ensuring excellent outcomes for every child.

Qualifications

• Experienced early years practitioner with strong understanding of child development and early education.
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and current best practice.
• Proven ability to inspire, support and develop colleagues.
• Committed to achieving the best outcomes for all children.
• Committed to inclusion and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Lead the nursery team at Christ the King Catholic Academy.
• Ensure the highest standards of care, learning, and development for 3–4-year-olds.
• Work closely with senior leaders to create an engaging, nurturing environment.
• Be an enthusiastic team player with strong communication and organisational skills.
