Job summary

Little Faces Nursery in Chelmsford, part of Storal, seeks a passionate Lead Early Years Educator (Third in Charge) to help run the nursery with the team. You will apply the Storal curriculum, engage with children and families, and ensure safe, caring environments every day.

The role requires EYFS knowledge, Level 3+ EY qualification and QTS, a team mindset, and excellent communication with management, peers and parents. 40-hour week, full-time, with a welcome bonus on joining.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 EY qualification and QTS.
• Experience across all age groups in Early Years.
• Knowledge of EYFS framework.

Responsibilities

• Apply the Storal curriculum and pedagogy with children daily.
• Identify learning opportunities in routines like meals and transitions.
• Build bonds with children and families through meaningful moments.

Nursery: Little Faces, Pontlands Park, West Hanningfield Rd, Great Baddow, Chelmsford CM2 8HR
Hours: Full Time 40 hours MAT Cover, Monday - Friday - 12 months
Salary: Up to £15.19 per hour (depends on qualification and experience)

We are looking for a passionate and ambitious Lead Early Years Educator (Third in Charge) who will work in partnership with the educator team to ensure the successful running of the nursery.

About The Role

As an Early Years Teacher you will be a key part of keep our children safe, loved and inspired to learn. Key activities include:

• Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily
• Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions
• Bond with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments

About You

• A true love for child development and care
• Able and willing to work in a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, your peers and parents
• High levels of care and empathy that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework

Must haves:

• Early Years qualification at Level 3and above
• QTS
• Experience working with all age groups within Early Years
