Job summary

Primrose School Franchising SPE, LLC in Chelmsford is seeking an early childhood educator to lead a classroom with intention. You will implement the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum, build strong relationships with children and families, and collaborate with leadership to support student progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; pursuing higher education a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with classroom staff and leadership.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of an active classroom.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily classroom experience for a group of children.
• Maintain a safe, attentive, and well-managed classroom and playground.
• Implement lesson plans using Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum.
• Observe and assess children’s developmental progress regularly.
• Partner with school leadership on student progress meetings and evaluations.
• Create an organized, engaging, confidence-building classroom environment.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents.
• Set clear behavior expectations and guide children consistently.
• Collaborate with co-teachers and other classroom staff.
• Help maintain classroom, shared spaces, and playground areas.
• Attend required faculty and student progress meetings and events.
