Job summary

Sizewell C Company is seeking a Lead Document Controller for maternity cover, with hybrid working and multiple location options including Leiston and Ipswich. You will lead a team of document controllers, drive best-practice in document management across major Sizewell C projects, and ensure compliant, well-organised information delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Lead Document Controller in a project environment.
• Experience in major project document, records and information management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and EDMS; Teamcenter experience desirable.
• Experience in a technical/engineering environment is beneficial.
• Strong organizational and workload management skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a team of document controllers.
• Understanding of nuclear industry requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, issue and distribute controlled information to project teams.
• Provide guidance to ensure compliance with document management processes.
• Liaise with project teams, contractors and suppliers regarding document control.
• Carry out conformance checks on documents and drawings.
• Support Project Managers with filing systems and archiving.
• Assist project close-out documentation and archiving activities.
• Identify lessons learned from Hinkley Point C and wider industry experience.
• Manage day-to-day activities and performance of the document control team.
