The Role
As a Lead Document Controller, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Where you’ll be managing the Document Control Team, directly supporting the delivery of a number of significant work streams; both internally and externally within the supply chain.

Day-to-day, you’ll be leading a team and will be project lead for all document control matters.

Main responsibilities

  • Be the document control 'subject matter adviser' providing ongoing support and guidance across the project.
  • Define and implement local project document control arrangements to ensure the protection and control of information, ensuring it is available, accurate, complete, and secure.
  • Advisor on Cavendish Nuclear and customer document control requirements.
  • Liaise with other functions to ensure the effective integration of Information Management across the programme e.g. engineering.
  • Accurate and timely reporting on document control performance and the status of the project.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.

Experience required of the Lead Document Controller

  • Have a proven track record in a senior document control role and ideally management of a team.
  • Experience of using and managing an EDM System.
  • Knowledge of Information Management standards e.g. ISO 15489, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 23081 (Desirable).
