Job summary
Schneider Electric in the UK is seeking a Senior/Lead Engineer to drive technical delivery of AVEVA-based automation and digital solutions from Coventry or Warrington. You will lead projects, mentor engineers, and maintain alignment with delivery and customer teams.
The role spans design, configuration, testing, installation and commissioning, with strong emphasis on UX/UI and digitisation knowledge to design customer-focused solutions.
Qualifications
- Qualified in engineering discipline i.e., HNC/HND/Degree.
- Experience with AVEVA tech and digital delivery projects.
- Experience on UK/overseas customer sites in SCADA and digital delivery.
- Knowledge of cyber security in control systems is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery of digital projects using AVEVA technologies.
- Design system requirements, configurations, testing, installation and commissioning.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with delivery managers.
- Support bid teams with technical input, delivery estimates and planning.
- Ensure delivery on time, cost and quality targets.
- Review outputs and prepare system documentation.
