Job summary

Acceler8 Talent in the United Kingdom is seeking a Lead DevSecOps Engineer to own the DevSecOps platform, set the roadmap and make decisions on tooling, architecture and engineering standards.

This hands-on role focuses on improving developer experience, security, reliability and repeatability of software delivery, including CI/CD, IaC and GitOps. You will collaborate with software, AI and infrastructure teams and mentor the DevSecOps function.

Qualifications

Experience building developer platforms or complex CI/CD environments.
Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge.
Hands-on Kubernetes experience.
Terraform, OpenTofu or Pulumi.
Python, Go or Bash scripting.
Security-focused delivery and modern DevSecOps.
Automation, simplicity and developer experience.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve the internal developer platform.
Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling.
Build secure, repeatable patterns for cloud infrastructure.
Drive Infrastructure as Code and GitOps.
Own GitLab and the wider engineering toolchain.
Embed security into delivery without slowing engineers down.
Improve automation, observability and platform reliability.
Help grow and mentor the DevSecOps team.
