Job summary

A leading tech firm in Greater London is seeking a hands-on Lead DevOps Engineer to drive platform engineering standards and automation across data, AI, and application workloads. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in DevOps, with strong expertise in Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and security practices. You will work closely with Infrastructure and Security teams to ensure compliance and reliability within a hybrid architecture. This role offers a chance to mentor engineers and contribute to governance forums.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Deep experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce DevOps standards across CI/CD, IaC, and container orchestration.
• Design, build, and operate Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters.
• Establish observability frameworks for metrics, logs, and dashboards.
