Job summary

Tain is seeking a DevOps Manager to lead and develop a DevOps team responsible for stable, scalable platforms, services, and infrastructure across multiple projects. You will own delivery plans for CI/CD, cloud, and infrastructure initiatives and mentor engineers on technical and soft skills.

The role collaborates with Product, Engineering, QA, Security and other teams, plus the Head of Platform, to align DevOps strategy. Experience with cloud, IaC, CI/CD and cloud-native tooling is ideal.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in DevOps/platform/infrastructure management.
• Strong experience with cloud, IaC, CI/CD and operational excellence.
• Exposure to cloud-native tooling for highly available platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a DevOps team, mentoring engineers.
• Create career paths and development plans for team members.
• Act as the primary contact for stakeholders on infra issues and deployments.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, Security and other teams to ensure reliable delivery.
• Align DevOps and platform strategies with business goals and OKRs.
• Maintain delivery plans with realistic timelines and resource allocation.
• Provide regular stakeholder updates on platform status and incidents.
• Foster automation, reliability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and cloud technologies and apply where suitable.
